Navinn Jane, Neil Gaiman, and Longevity
The Weekly Curator | Volume 1 | Week 7
Here are some things I found this past week that I thought I would share:
Bulletproof Radio:
Dave Asprey and Navinn Jane get into the nitty gritty about the importance of gut health. Did you know how many diseases are caused by poor gut health? Did you know how you can cure many symptoms of diseases of aging and inflammation by addressing your gut biome? If you enjoy this and get something out of it, you will definitely like the audio book I mention below.
Master Class on Writing:
I’ve been really impressed by the line up of the Master Class Series. So much so, that I’ve been working within my own organization at work to start our own version of it with relevant topics for our team. This one is outstanding. Neil Gaiman (Coraline, Good Omens, American Gods, The Graveyard Book, etc.) is one of my -and about a zillion other people’s- favorite authors. He has an excellent writing course with Master Class. You can check it out here.
Audio Book:
The Longevity Paradox by Dr. Steven Gundry is one of the single best books I’ve read (or listened to) on the latest on aging and longevity. As a passionate researcher on all things health and fitness, I found this to be a single resource that really covered a huge amount of the information I’ve learned. Dr. Gundry gives easy to follow steps on how to live a long life AND still be healthy and fit! As a woman turning 50, I want to make sure I head into my next decade with all of the tools in my toolbox as possible. I love the audiobook version of this book – Dr. Gundry reads it himself. If you have any sort of health issues, you may find some recommendations in this book to help. If you are very healthy, this book can help with information on how to stay that way!
A New Song I like from Death Cab for Cutie:
